Welcome
to The Laurel Tree. We are open to the public for lunch or dinner
on Saturdays,and we would love to have you as our guest. Our menu changes
weekly and features only the freshest seasonal ingredients. We also
welcome private parties and functions for special occasions such as
birthdays and anniversaries.
For years,
I have dreamed of opening a European-style "Guest Table" and
my dream has come true with a charming rock building and garden set
among 400-year old oak trees. I want you to walk
out my door and tell everyone " You can't believe what I've
discovered in the middle of nowhere!" We don't call
it "Utopia" for
nothing!
One of the many highlights
for me each week is planning the menu. I
get inspiration from everywhere...my travels, my garden, my taste
buds, my sense of smell and my heart. If I could eat my way across
the world,
I would do it!
When you reserve a table,
it will be yours for the entire lunchtime or evening . You might allow
time to meander through the pecan grove and visit the herb and vegetable
gardens. Among our amenities are fresh flowers, candlelight, and garden
or fireside seating
as the
weather changes. We are in a "dry"
district, so feel free to bring your own wine and we will furnish glasses
and
corkscrews. Bring your sweetheart, your family, your best friends,
and a healthy appetite.
